Role Overview

Nullspace Applications Engineer (AE) role is an opportunity to be the face and voice of the Nullspace software product line.  An AE is responsible for helping our customers to understand how to solve their complex RF problems using Nullspace software, onboard new customers and get them started with Nullspace tools, and help our sales team understand technical needs of our customers to help qualify them.

An AE is responsible for developing and providing content for various marketing materials such as relevant articles, blog posts, webinars, and video tutorials and acts as the technical resource for our sales and marketing teams. An AE is a valuable resource for the development team as he/she delivers valuable customer feedback to our development team to help guide our product roadmap.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the Nullspace product expert and interact with internal and external customers and partners, to understand their technical needs and engineering design workflows; analyze how to address customers’ requirements using Nullspace products

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging and technically accurate marketing content - including case studies, brochures, webinars, presentations, videos, whitepapers, and social media posts

  • Work with the product team to develop and deliver training courses

  • Collaborate with the product team to help provide technical support for current customers

  • Work with Nullspace sales and product teams to coordinate and execute technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, and evaluations

  • Collaborate with the Nullspace product development teams to translate customer requirements into new product features

  • Test new releases of Nullspace products, develop new examples and aid in creation of software user guides

Education / Experience

  • MS or PhD in electrical engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of professional experience in electromagnetic simulation domain

  • Hands-on experience with Ansys HFSS, Dassault’s CST, Altair’s FEKO software packages

  • Hands-on experience with Python and Matlab programming

  • Knowledge of 5G system, Phased Array, Digital Beamforming, Microwave components, Communications, Radar systems, etc

  • Strong oral and written communication
