Summary / Role Purpose

The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will drive growth by integrating Nullspace’s engineering simulation solutions into customers’ workflows and product development processes, helping our customers to develop new RF technologies.

The SAM oversees the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, within a defined geographic territory or named accounts, focusing on large and mid-sized companies in aerospace, defense, communications and automotive industries. Responsibilities include maximizing sales profitability, account penetration, and achieving sales quotas and new business growth targets by selling Nullspace’s simulation software and services

A successful SAM develops and executes account strategies, demonstrates the ROI of Nullspace solutions, and maintains a robust pipeline to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform sales activities and build relationships with current and prospective customers.

• Research and develop new customer prospects and expand engagements within existing accounts.

• Maintain renewal business and generate new business within an assigned territory or set of named accounts to meet or exceed revenue goals.

• Develop and execute strategies to align Nullspace’s software solutions with customer challenges and priorities.

• Keep detailed notes and maintain sales data hygiene in the CRM

• Coordinate efforts with management, marketing, technical teams, and other internal stakeholders.

• Prepare detailed proposals/quotations that address customer needs and highlight the value of Nullspace’s solutions.

• Create and maintain account plans to identify growth opportunities.

• Provide feedback from customers to guide product development and improvements.

• Leverage trade shows, conventions, training, and webinars to develop business opportunities.

• Manage administrative tasks, including quotes, contracts, and data entry in CRM

Education/ Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, business, or related field with 3+ years of related experience in enterprise software sales (sales in engineering software companies, preferred)

• Extensive experience working in engineering-related field, or engineering degree

• Self-starter who works independently with guidance as needed.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and opportunities while maintaining accurate tracking.

• Experience navigating complex sales processes and customer issues.

• Strong networking skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships.

• Proficient in English

• Willing to travel up to 50% in the USA and EMEA

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Familiarity with engineering simulation commercial tools and market

• Understanding of engineering simulation and analysis sapce

• Knowledge of enterprise sales fundamentals

• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

• Excellent executive presentation skills

• Collaborative mindset
