Account Executive - RF Simulation Software
Sell Something You'd be Proud to Put Your Name On.
At Nullspace, we built our sales culture around a simple belief: when you put customers first and work as a real team, the results follow. That’s not a tagline - it’s why we have a 100% customer retention rate and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.
We’re hiring Account Executives to grow alongside us. This is a rare opportunity to join a company small enough that your voice shapes how we sell, and backed by enough momentum — defense-validated IP, venture funding, a growing enterprise customer base — that the opportunity is real and the product speaks for itself with the right buyer.
As one of our first Account Executives, you may inherit some early stage accounts with significant potential to grow quickly. We are looking for a self-starter who consistently looks for opportunities rather than seeing roadblocks. You’ll create the account plans and improve sales processes. You’ll bring bold ideas about how to reach the right buyers, test them quickly, learn from what doesn’t work, and scale what does. You’ll have the ear of the executive team and the freedom and expectation to move fast.
What You’ll Do
Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts across aerospace, defense, communications, and automotive markets
Drive expansion within existing accounts and bring in new logos
Collaborate daily with the executive team, applications engineers, BDR, and marketing
Build genuine, long-term relationships with customers, not just transactional ones (we pride ourselves on not ever losing a customer!)
Connect Nullspace’s simulation capabilities to what customers are actually trying to accomplish technically and strategically
Feed customer insights back into the product team — your voice helps shape what we build next
Represent Nullspace at industry events and trade shows
What You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences or related field
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or green card holder)
Proven experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
Strong networking skills and ability to develop and maintain business relationships
Executive-level presentation skills
Hands-on CRM experience and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and in EMEA
Fluent in English — verbal and written
The ability to work fluidly across internal teams — you give as much as you take
A track record of building trust with technically sophisticated customers over multi-month sales cycles
What We Offer
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission (60/40 split)
Significant equity stake as a founding sales team member
Comprehensive benefits + 100% remote with flexible hours
A team that has your back — and a product customers actually love
Why Nullspace
Nullspace is redefining what’s possible in electromagnetic simulation: solving RF and quantum design challenges that no one else can. Our mission-critical tools are trusted in aerospace, defense, and quantum computing — and our customers stay because our team shows up for them. We’re backed by leading deep-tech venture capital and building something worth being part of.
A Note to Veterans
Nullspace was built on defense-validated technology and serves customers in aerospace, defense, and government-adjacent industries. We understand the value of the skills, discipline, and mission orientation that military service develops — and we actively recruit veterans as a result.
If your military background includes signals, electronic warfare, RF systems, radar, communications, aerospace engineering, or technical program management, your experience is directly relevant to what we do and who we sell to. You do not need a traditional software sales background to be considered. We are looking for candidates with the drive to excel, the discipline to execute, and the credibility to earn the trust of highly technical customers — all qualities that military service builds.
Nullspace is a U.S. Person-required role, and we are proud to be a veteran-friendly employer.
