CRO
Andy Fine serves as Fractional Chief Revenue Officer at Nullspace, bringing over 20 years of experience in engineering simulation. He holds a master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cranfield University in the UK and combines deep technical expertise with extensive commercial leadership across the engineering software industry.
Andy began his career as an engineer at a major airframe manufacturer before transitioning into application engineering at LMS, where he supported the Virtual Lab platform (now part of Siemens Digital Industries Software). His technical foundation in physics-based modeling and simulation has underpinned his subsequent leadership roles at some of the industry's most prominent companies.
Throughout his career, Andy has held senior commercial and technical positions at ANSYS, Exa Corporation (acquired by Dassault Systèmes), and Altair, where he served as Vice President for CFD across EMEA. He also led commercial strategy at Neural Concept, an AI-powered simulation company, which gave him valuable insight into both the possibilities and limitations of engineering AI applications. In these roles, he drove go-to-market strategies, built high-performing teams, and established deep relationships with engineering organizations across aerospace, automotive, defense, and heavy industry sectors.
Most recently, Andy has been running the Fine Physics consortium, scouting and qualifying next-generation engineering simulation technologies across physics, AI, and hybrid approaches. This work keeps him at the forefront of emerging capabilities and market trends in the simulation space.
At Nullspace, Andy leverages his technical credibility and commercial expertise to accelerate market adoption of next-generation simulation capabilities, working closely with defense contractors, aerospace companies, and commercial organizations facing increasingly complex design challenges.
